Patrick Soft Shape Sorter



Size: 6.5cm(W) x 6.5cm(H) x 2cm(D)



Total 4 shapes in different textures & colors. Babies can start to learn early shape sorting with the soft shapes. Shape sorting blocks will help babies develop their spatial sense and fine motor skills.

Stage 1 (6-12m)

Objective: Fine motor skills training - grasping

Method: Encourage children to grasp the shapes with both their right and left hands.




Objective: Sense stimulation

Method: Patrick Soft Shape Sorter is made from different materials like cotton fabrics and corduroy, etc. Encourage your child to touch and feel different texture to enhance tactile stimulation. There are squeakers, crinkles and rattles inside the toy. When infant shake or press it, the toy would produce sounds.







 

Objective: Fine motor training – twisting

Method: Young child can twist the Patrick’s head to learn to use both hands coordination.



Stage 2 (12-36m)

Objective: Shape sorting

Method: Parents can guide children to freely sort the shapes so that they can learn about the characteristics of shapes and trains their gross and fine motor skills.


Objective: Learning number

Method: Using the number embroidered on the soft block to teach young children about the numbers.








Objective: Learning shapes

Method: Teach children to identify shapes using the colorful shapes blocks.








Objective: Learning colors

Method: Teach children to identify colors using the colorful shapes blocks.








Objective: Sorting specific numbered soft blocks

Method: Say a number and ask your child to point to the soft blocks with the same number.
