Swaddle UP™ – STAGE 1 – TOG 1.0 (Bamboo) – The iconic swaddle by Love To Dream™, designed for your baby's calm, safe, and comfortable sleep. The patented design allows your baby to sleep in the natural ARMS UP position, which supports self-soothing and promotes longer, more peaceful sleep.

Our Bamboo range is incredibly popular, because of the silky, soft and moisture wicking fabric which feels beautiful on the skin and keeps your bub cool and dry in warm temperatures.
This 1.0 TOG Material is ideal for room temperatures between 68°F & 75°F (20–24°C).
Single layer of fabric to reduce risk of overheating.
Pairs perfectly with our Love to Dream™ layers – for sleep and play.
All our garments are quality and performance tested.
Easy care: machine washable & tumble dryer friendly.
Available in 3 sizes: Newborn (XS), Small (S) & Medium (M).


Size and Intended Use: The Swaddle UP™ STAGE 1 TOG 1.0 is intended for infants who are not yet rolling onto their tummy. It is available in sizes Newborn (XS), Small (S), and Medium (M). For the best fit, it is recommended to choose the size based on the baby's weight, not age.

Material Composition:
95% Viscose (from Bamboo), 5% Elastane
The bamboo blend ensures breathability, softness and excellent thermoregulatory properties.

Safety: All Love To Dream™ products are approved by INPAA and meet European and British safety standards, including BS EN 16781:2018. The design supports the correct positioning of the baby's hips and legs.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

Discontinue use of this model (STAGE 1) when your baby starts trying to roll over. In this case, it is recommended to transition to the Transition Swaddle (STAGE 2).
Please read the warnings on the packaging and the website before use.

Care Instructions:


Wash before first use.
Close zipper before washing.
Warm gentle machine wash in wash bag with similar colours.
Pull into shape after washing, before tumble drying/line drying.
Tumble dry on low.
Any warm or extra warm garments – tumble dry inside out on second cycle for quicker drying.
Warm iron if necessary (avoid zipper).
Wash immediately after every use.
Do not soak, bleach, dry clean or iron the zipper.
Dark printed colors may fade – this does not compromise the quality or comfort of the product.


About TOG and Temperature:

What is a TOG rating?
Finding the right TOG rating and dressing your baby appropriately for the temperature can be confusing. Every baby feels hot and cold differently, ambient temperatures fluctuate, and layering impacts thermal effectiveness. It's not a one-size-fits-all approach, but understanding these factors can help.

At Love to Dream we use the industry-recognised measurement system, called TOG. TOG stands for Thermal Overall Grade and helps simplify the process of choosing the right garment/s for your baby. Put simply: The lower the TOG rating, the lighter the fabric. The higher the TOG rating, the warmer the fabric.


Products with a 0.2 TOG Rating are ideal for Room Temperatures between 24–27°C (75-81°F).
Products with a 1.0 TOG Rating are ideal for Room Temperatures between 20–24°C (68-75°F).
Products with a 1.5 TOG Rating are ideal for Room Temperatures between 18–22°C (64-72°F).
Products with a 2.5 TOG Rating are ideal for Room Temperatures between 16–20°C (61-68°F).
Products with a 3.5 TOG Rating are ideal for Room Temperatures below 16°C (61°F).


The clothing guide above provides guidelines around how to dress your baby/toddler based on the room temperature. It is only a guide. All babies are different. The number of clothing layers may vary according to a baby’s health, their physiology, and the room temperature. The caregiver must determine what is suitable. We recommend that carers always monitor the temperature of the room & the child’s comfort. It is important to check your baby regularly to ensure that they are comfortable and that they do not overheat.

*Weight and age ranges are approximate – the best fit is achieved by selecting the size according to the baby's weight.
