Basic baby hammock (twin)



Twins often find comfort in each other and benefit from sleeping together. The Membantu Twin Baby Hammock has room for your twins simultaneously, making it easier to synchronize their sleep while providing them with a sense of security. Membantu is your solution to provide optimal sleep for your twins while allowing yourself a well-deserved rest. With the right accessories, you can place the cradle almost anywhere.

If your babies need to be rocked, but you would like to have your hands free while your babies nap you can combine the baby hammock twin with our cradle bouncer.

Description




The baby hammock imitates the parent’s safe embrace and soft movements, shaping itself around the child’s body. Most babies love to fall asleep with a rocking motion. Our baby hammock is the best substitute for when your arms feel too heavy and your baby needs to settle down.

The baby hammock is soft and comfortable and is made of 100% organic cotton. It comes with a polyester-filled mattress, a organic sheet and a metal spring. The baby hammock comes with a carabiner gate so you can mount the sling cradle directly onto the supplied spring. The carabiner hook is insulated with rubber to protect against possible metal splinters.

The baby hammock twin with cradle bouncer can be used up to 15 kg (total weight of your babies).

If you wish to separate the hammock into two separate hammocks, you can easily do so with our conversion kit. Once the hammocks are separated, they can each be used up to 15 kg.

Guide to a good start:

✓ Introduce the baby hammock to your baby when he/she is full and tired.

✓ Hold a hand on your baby and sing a little song so your baby knows you're there.

✓ Carefully rock the baby hammock up and down by hand.

✓ If your baby becomes restless and upset, pick your baby up again, comfort your baby and try again later or the next day.

Height:

Before using your baby hammock, it is important to ensure that there is sufficient space between the baby hammock and the floor. You can test this in the following way:


Mount your baby hammock as indicated in the assembly.
Place an object in the baby hammock that is equivalent to your baby’s weight. 
Now straighten the string as long as possible by pulling down the spring until the safety strap is fully extended. When the safety strap is fully extended, make sure there is enough space between the floor and the baby hammock so that the baby hammock does not touch the floor. Check this regularly.
