Our ultra-thin butterfly nipple shields are designed for direct contact with your baby. Thanks to the unique shape of the breast protectors, it touches both the nose and the chin of the baby. This allows the baby to smell the mum's scent and touch her skin. It is enough to place the cover in the center of the nipple so that the baby can properly latch onto the nipple. This will help you bond with your baby while protecting your nipples.

DESIGNED TO HELP SOLVE SUCTION PROBLEMS

Our nipple shields help to solve your baby's latch on to the breast and prolong feeding *. The nipple-shaped caps make it easier to suck on flat or inverted nipples. They also help children who have not yet developed suckling techniques or who were born with a distorted mouth. The sheath pulls out the nipple and keeps it in the right position during breaks in feeding.

Nipple protectors provide comfort during feeding and provide relief from sore, cracked or sore nipples. They help reduce the risk of nipple rubbing and stretching, so you can comfortably breastfeed your baby.

If mom wants to control milk flow or the baby doesn't have the power to suckle, nipple shields can help. Three holes in the casing allow to reduce the force of the flow of food. This allows the baby to drink at its own pace, even in the event of an oversupply of milk.

DESIGNED FOR A NATURAL FIT

The nipple shields come in two sizes. Small covers fit warts from 12 mm in diameter, and medium ones - up to 21 mm. To find your size, sit back and wear one of the nipple shields. Turn the sheath clockwise and insert the nipple into the tunnel. Then stretch the base of the sheath around the areola. If there is a 2-mm gap between the nipple and the silicone, the cover fits properly. Tip: The size is for the nipple, not the areola. Not sure which size to choose? Contact your doctor for help.

EASY CLEANING IN A HYGIENIC CASE

You should clean the nipple shields before each use. It takes less than 10 minutes. Place the casings in boiling water for five minutes or use a special case. Put in it well-rinsed casings and pour in 25 ml of water. Then place the case in a microwave oven and turn on the power of 750–1000 W for 3 minutes. Wait five minutes for them to cool down. Pour out the water. The casings are ready to use. Use this convenient case for cleaning the casings while traveling. Of course, it is also used to store them.

COMBINING BREAST AND BOTTLE FEEDING

The Philips Avent nipple shield is made of a very thin and soft silicone material that is closer to the material used in baby feeding products. Makes the transition from breastfeeding to bottle feeding easier when combining both methods.
