A runny nose in an infant can cause many unpleasant ailments for the little one. A blocked nose makes breathing, eating and sleeping difficult. Unremoved discharge can develop into an ear infection or bronchitis or pneumonia, which is dangerous for the child. A small child does not yet have a reflex to blow its nose, which is why it is so important to mechanically extract the discharge. This is what runny nose aspirators are for.
