ACTION - it is based on the commonly known and used at home method, which consists in placing the tip of a thermometer in the child's anus to measure body temperature in order to relieve the ailments related to intestinal colic. The strong anxiety accompanying the spikes causes an increase in muscle tension in the child, including the muscles of the anal sphincters, thus making it difficult for unnecessary gases to escape to the outside. Stimulation of this group of muscles leads to their relaxation and, consequently, allows the removal of gases from the excretory system.
